Bars & Tops

Cabinets interiors can have white melamine (a white durable surface over particle board), or wood veneer core that is clear coated. Drawer boxes can be melamine, wood veneer core, or solid hardwood with dovetail joints. Laminate tops are built in our own shop.

Basement bar made with red oak. The wall cabinet is where the liquor and glasses are stored. It is also covering the main electrical panel. There is a bar sink on the right side of the wood like laminate counter top with a beveled oak edge. A refrigerator in the base cabinet, along with 4 drawers and 2 other storage cabinets. Bar stools were assembled from a kit and then finished.

Made with birch with a lite finish and a solid birch top. It overlooks a pool just on the other side of the window. The plywood floor in front of the cabinet needed to be tiled.

I was just involved with the front bar. It is birch with a light finish. The panels are recessed with custom moldings. The bar has open shelving in the rear. The post is 3/4" birch boards mitered together with 3 volutes on each side. There is a 4" * 4" post underneath. It is supporting the floor above.

The front bar is what I built. it is a L-shaped with open shelving and a black ceramic inlay. Bar sink in the rear with black laminate top, a fridge and display cabinets. Bar is made with cherry with a cherry finish.
